BCSplash Showcase - Awoman InSane.

It's BCSplash time again and we really couldn't resist this photo created for the BCrecreate challenge by Wendles56.

The challenge, which finishes on Monday, is to recreate and then photograph a favourite album or book cover, or perhaps an unforgettable movie or television scene.

We're sure there are very few blippers that will not recognise the legend David Bowie incredibly recreated by Wendles56 and her talented neighbour Gemma who helped with the make-up. 

"As a youngster in the seventies I was a huge fan of Bowie but, apart from the bleached, flared jeans which my Grandad Joe kept threatening to burn, I hadn't the courage to go the whole hog with the make-up and hair.
So, when the latest Blip Challenge was to recreate a favourite album cover, I had to do it, warts and all!! A huge thank you to very talented neighbour Gemma who magicked my make-up."

Wendles56 has been here a long time, having created more than 4,100 blips to date. Her varied and colourful journal is summed up in her own words "Blip has opened my eyes to some simple, wonderful things".
Looking through her journal she does has a great ability to find something beautiful to photograph every day.
