Having a lie-in

All three of us had a lie-in this morning (and part of the afternoon too). I read more of The Love Song of Queenie Hennessy which I'm enjoying a lot. It was the best part of the day, but I eventually decided I had to get up and do some Useful Things. After that I went out on foot to do a bit of local shopping. I think that was the first time since all the shops reopened. It was a nice afternoon and people seemed to be going about their business quite cheerily.
