GARDEN QUIZ

For all your gardeners, who aced my last quiz, here is a more difficult pair. Name
these 2 flowers. Here are some hints:

-The big orange flower is an heirloom variety of a common, tall willowy annual that blooms during the Summer in most places.
It usually comes in a variety of pastels.

-The small tubular flowers are on a woody
shrub that grows year round here, but is only an annual in areas that have hard frost.
The hummingbirds adore these flowers. It’s like catnip!

I keep saying I am not fond of orange flowers, but “the proof is in the pudding.”
Maybe I am changing my palette...
