Granny likes spicy food (& drink!)

Swam, onçe I'd got round the Council erected 'spaces for people' barriers. They are there to make it easier for pedestrians and cyclists. Mmmm.

Down to Sainsbury's to buy food, a new tin opener (couldn't get an 'ordinary' one), some wine and then petrol. First petrol since just after Christmas. 60 miles a month. Discovered another downside of new access to my banking app, that's where my loyalty cards are stored. My seething is increasing.

Talked to the guys about drains, still haven't found it. Then there was a wee bit College work and a some proper house cleaning, for my guest. And the sparkies came by. An upgrade is required. Well best to everything checked out.

It was an ok day, bit of sun, bit of cloud till mid afternoon when I was on the phone to 'still locked down' Y in G41. She's missing her mum's birthday this weekend. Oh, the haar had rolled in, by 5 soggy mist.

Sewed a bit till Zoomers. L didn't leave Crieff till after 5. She got confused, not realising she was supposed to be here for 5. But I won the quiz without her. Plans for the 'big get together' on 7th. I see the Strathearns are following our lead, though they got there first.

Chat, then a taxi to David Bann's. Lovely meal and some heavy talk. Another friend with men problems, different but similar. Sometimes the benefits of living alone are glaringly obvious.

Of course we had to leave before the new witching hour of 10.30 so quite a long wait on the pavement for the taxi home.

L realised she should have got the train here as no trains on Sunday. It may mean 2 cars back to Crieff.

The cocktail is a Chilli Margarita. V yum!
