Guess the band

A long day at work, not finishing until 11:30 pm.  The majority of the day was taken up with the first outdoor music event held in the area for a very long time.  On top of the normal concerns around a public event taking place, we had the added complications of factoring in Covid restrictions and protection measures.

The promoter took on board such restrictions as table service in an open field, no standing while drinking and eating, the additional requirements around social distancing and queuing and a myriad of other measures to provide a safe event.  Tonight was a test event before the main shows over the weekend and generally we were pleased with how it went.  Luckily the few spots of rain didn't develop into anything heavier and the rest of the weekend is set fair.

I was just glad that the 2nd vaccine dose I received yesterday didn't cause the same reaction as the first or the loud music and heavy bass thud might not have been so pleasing to listen to!
