Simon

This is my good friend Simon.  He is running his Rum and Reggae stool at the Retro fair in Ardingly this weekend and asked for my help in setting up his marquee.  I was only too pleased to have an excuse to spend half a day with Simon as he is fantastic company, but it was only after I said I would go with him that I realised that it was the same day that I'd invited our old neighbours Richard and Nicola over for dinner!  

Advanced planning skills and a little bit of sweat saw me rustle up Cream of Spring Onion soup, followed by pan-fried Sea Bass, new potatoes, Greek Salad and home made Focaccia; Strawberries with Sable biscuits and an orange and lemon Syllabub for pudding before cheese and biscuits.  The evening flew by and before I realised, it was 1.30 and time to hit a very welcome bed for the night
