Ladies who lunch

The quilting Usual Suspects met for our belated Christmas lunch at The Waterfront in Hythe. We were just the original four as the other two couldn't make it in the end. Lovely three courses including fish and chips.
That evening at home Stephen made a delicious spicy prawn dish and I made rhubarb pie to follow. Miriam and Isla came for the night too so it was a lovely jolly night. The dishwasher wouldn't drain but clever Miriam  used her palm as a pump and dismantled the outlet under the sink to unblock it. She is a real star.
