Sunrise at Nichol End

This morning we decided to make an early start and hopefully take a photo for blip before we tackled another full day of Photoshop training.

Arriving just after 6am we saw the sunrise from Nichol End Marina just outside Keswick. Before the sun appeared temperatures were freezing but my (Chris') hands dramatically warmed up as soon as the sun appeared. More importantly it also made for a beautiful, tranquil beginning to the day.

The blip captures the scene as the sun was just beginning to strongly light the peaks on the far side of Derwent Water.
