Prestwich Clough

I wandered around in the Irwell Valley this morning. I intended to spend just an hour or so at Philips Park followed by a look at Clifton Viaduct's 13 Arches.

The sun was warm, distracting me and the map was indistinct. Are two reasons sufiicient excuse for getting lost? But being lost took me to an unexpectedly lovely place, today's blip. An alternative mono version is here.

In further seeking sympathy news, I have a sore ingrowing toenail. If it doesn't get better soon, I may blip it. So you had all better hope for a cure.
