Angie’s Fern

When my best friend moved to the other end of the country last year, I asked if I could have one of the ferns from her garden. I had to tear it from its spot in her border and it was really tough to dig out.

I thought I had lost it over the winter, I thought I must have damaged its root system, but here it is putting in an appearance.
Henceforth to be known as Angie’s Fern, slightly the worse for wear and a bit manhandled but settling in to her new home.
