I look a bit like the late John Peel here. Big forehead, receding hairline. I liked Peel. He presented all this music that I'd never heard. 'Opera for Bedsprings', by Web, anyone? And later on he introduced me to punk rock. Sometimes, in the eighties, or nineties, I would tune into his show, quite like the first thing I heard, but then think that the next one was an awful din. That was how he was.
