Aquilegia

I took out a few of my vintage 50mm lenses today. This was shot on my 50mm Oreston dating from the 1960s. I love the soft colours of this lens, but the out of focus areas are totally sublime. 

I made sure my exposure was optimal (ie as far to the right on the histogram as possible), and in post processing I added a white soft light layer over much of the background, to give it a water-colour look.

I'm pleased with it - I hope you like it!
