Moorhen chick

Our afternoon walk took us along past Craiglockhart Pond and I caught this snap of a solitary Moorhen chick, who appeared to be on some sort of lookout duty, at the edge of the pond ;-)

Lots of bird activity (moorhens, coots, swans, ducks, geese, gulls) all around the pond today!
