While you’ve been swanning it at the local spa the grass has been growing!
 
 
Poor old Herbie has got his work cut out to get the lawn back into shape.  In all fairness I was expecting to have to raise the cutting height, but he is managing surprisingly well.  Twelve hour days until the job is done though.
 
Just in case you were wondering, we are letting the edges of the lawn grow as part of the ‘Wild Challenge’ and ‘Grow a wild patch’ challenges promoted by the RSPB Wildlife Trusts.  It saves strimming!!
