Billinge 2 Egerton FC 2

Having watched Egerton in the Quarter Final of the JB Parker Challenge Cup last week I went to watch their semi-final game at Billinge. This is the main stand at Billinge.

The game had a very exciting ending with Billinge scoring a hotly disputed penalty deep into injury time.They thought they had won the game but amazingly Egerton immediately went down the other end and equalised with  the last kick of the game. The game was settled on penalties with Egerton winning 3-1. Looks like I am their lucky mascot.

Only a short walk today as I had a diversion past Peak Cavern and up Cave Dale then back through Castleton finishing to the west of Hope.
