A Much Warmer Day

The weather today has been very much better. A day for pruning, mowing and enjoying working in the garden.

The first task is the subject of today’s Blipfoto. The pavement has become a well used circuit for runners and walkers. Our Beech trees have flourished remarkably and I felt it would be better to trim the branches back to the wall and at least 2 metres above the pavement.

For lunch we had a pickle herring salad, followed by fresh strawberries, rhubarb cake and ice cream.

In the afternoon I mowed the lawn and removed some weeds. It was good to be in the fresh air and sun.

More of the same tomorrow, but lunch might be a Barbecue.
