Silly saturday

Shrouded speaker! We had a first outdoor rehearsal for the mayflower sing on the hoe. They are hoping for 1000 singers to join in with a musical story of the voyage of the mayflower! We had to rehearse at Argyle football ground from 10.00 -13.00 and all of a sudden just after the break the sprinklers started on the far side of the pitch, gradually travelling round towards the accompanist and the speakers! To avoid electrocution the speakers were shrouded! After an interval we started singing again after the sprinklers had past by!

It was lovely to sing en masse, separated by two seats and a row between each singer. 11th July is the performance on the hoe with the marine orchestra!! God willing and coronavirus permitting!
