after surgery....

What a 24 hours we've had. ....

Last night Cooper tripped &hit his head on the toilet. ... he split his head open. We rushed off to A&E not much the could do cause he needed surgery & he had eaten.... a plastic surgeon was called & we had to make our way back for 8.30am..... cannot fault the staff at ward 30 (paediatric surgery) at Ninewells.... they were wonderful.... he wasn't scared in the least.

Watching you child being put under general anaesthetic is the worst feeling.... I felt sick.... but an hour later he was out..... & after 6 1/2 hours we got to go home....

What an emotionally exhausting day.....
