Day trip to Morcambe

This is the view from the balcony of The Winter Gardens in Morcambe.

Our daughter has been involved with the extensive renovations that have been taking place. After seeing films of Morcambe from the past, we got a guided tour of the building. The ceiling is going to look fabulous once again soon.

It is wonderful to think that a building with such history will be restored to it's former glory before too long!
