Iris

Some much needed rain fell this morning with more to come tomorrow. It was chilly enough for a small fire inside this morning. Once the rain stopped I headed out to finish some planting. I noticed the iris are starting to bloom. We have a wide variety of them and these are the really big glorious ones. I had a close look and saw the one dandelion seed stuck to the bloom and thought this is today's blip. Maybe there is some metaphor there but I really just love the detail.
