Spring Oak

A big day in growing up in the Elliot household and for not using the car.

Husband set off early on a weekend bike expedition with his pal. They'll do ridiculous miles and heights.

I was working and headed of on the bike at 9.15am to get to two appointments. Son set off on foot at 9.30am to deliver the saturday eggs. Daughter got on her bike to tennis at 9.45am. She was back by 11.15am. Boy got bus to judo and back by 13.30. I was home by 3pm. No cars were used in any of this. I was relieved when it all worked out.

This pic was snapped on cycle path on my way home. Beautiful new oak leaves and blue sky. Hard came in later. Me and kids had pizza/chippy incar at Musselburgh harbour (so car was used that day) and had a wee walk.

I was locking up at a wedding at Bellfield at 10pm.
