The tram/construction work round the back of Victoria Quay has reached the extremity of having a pedestrian diversion, unannounced until almost atop it if you walk across the transporter bridge after cutting through from Constitution St. Fortunately I had enough time before my earliest post-lunch meeting to complete my task of retrieving sufficient additional socks and trousers for the larger child to see him through to the end of term.
