Len has grown sweet peas from seed this year and they're just coming into flower. He hopes there will be more colours than this.

Spent the afternoon watching Len and George playing cricket at Nanpantan Sports Ground, for the first time in around five years. Six years in the case of Len. The sunshine was glorious. A glass of wine would have capped it off.

The chaps had to bring their own cricket teas.

Len had played a tennis match in the morning. Small wonder that he fell asleep in front of the box after dinner waking in a grouchy mood.
