Early walk by the river Avon this morning

A lovely stretch in east Bristol where you can’t hear any traffic, only birds and the odd rower going past.  We started out at 8 and had non stop sunshine. The highlight of the walk was seeing the heronry about half way along.  There was at least a dozen nests, high up, and seemingly a bit wobbly.  I had neither binoculars nor camera, but will go back soon with both.
