GOSLINGS

The local Canada Geese (Branta canadensis) have a passel of goslings and they are getting bigger every day. If you're curious...I counted 10 of them.

This family resides at the Sheboygan County Marsh...along with a myriad of other critters including birds of a hundred varieties, muskrats, beavers, otters, coyotes, fox, mink, ermine, deer, raccoons and bobcats to name a few. 

Great place to canoe or kayak if you can handle the horse flies and deerflies. They live there too in abundance and there's no insect repellent  that they don't like. The only thing that works for me is to get a 5 cent stogie and puff up a dense blue cloud of smoke around your head. They won't come within an arm's length of you.
