A VISIT TO MUM

Just backblipped a photo I took yesterday but didn't post.  Please see here to see it, I would love to know what the wee beastie is.

Went over to visit Mum today.  

It was great to see Mum, have a good chat, some lunch and sort a few things out for her.  

The traffic was very busy on the way there and we saw loads of lorry cabs bedecked with balloons turning off the new road into Morecambe on our way to Mum's.  

We later discovered that this was, very sadly,  to do with George Hinds, the 2 year old that was killed in the gas explosion in Heysham recently.  So so sad.  Apparently there was a gathering on Morecambe Prom and lots of local lorry drives bedecked their cabs and did a drive by to pay  tribute to him.  I do hope they were all covid safe.  I confess to shedding a tear as a few of the lorry's drove past Mum's house after it had finished.

Too many people around now to go anywhere so it will be a week mostly at home catching up on things.
