In other news I bit the bullet and traded into the new Mac ecosystem with an Apple Silicon M1 MacBook. First impressions, blimey its quick. Big advantage for me is being able to run iOS apps so I can control the wireless music system with the MacBook. I'm still smarting that they've 'forced' this on me again like they did with the PowerPC to Intel migration all those years ago.
