Not Sun Day

No sun here today. It rained overnight but has been overcast all morning. Heavy rain is drifting our way for a mid-afternoon through Monday soaking. The water will certainly help the drought conditions but of course I selfishly think of our young seedlings newly planted this week. Will they survive? We’ll know Tuesday when the sun returns • Feeling better today! After resting all day yesterday I slept in this morning too. I fertilized the plants in the garden to take advantage of the future rain. MrsP insists on making vegan chocolate chip bars this afternoon as they are known to have medicinal properties for those not feeling 100%. Who am I to argue with that? I insisted on being her sous chef • We’re planning a quiet dinner and a movie later while the rain pours down • Memorial Day tomorrow.
