God's own country
Another fabulous day to be outside enjoying the stunning Yorkshire countryside.
We went for a leisurely meander (on two wheels of course) around the Washburn and Nidderdale valleys. May is probably my favourite month; everything is lush and at its best right now.
Our tasty cheese and pickle sandwiches were consumed by a babbling brook in the village of Darley (alas no photo), and then we had coffee and cake at Sophie's excellent tearoom in Hampsthwaite.
