Easdale Island and Oban

Easdale was once where slate was mined but over 100 years ago a huge storm flooded the mines and all excavation was stopped. They now hold the world stone skimming championship there. It has about 56 inhabitants , no vehicles and colour coded barrows which are for grocery deliveries from the wee ferry. It’s enchanting.
