Our pile of old logs with its welcoming lucky horseshoe and a fish shaped uncut area are both homes or visiting places for all kinds of insects and small creatures. They don't get disturbed by humans much so we hope they make the most of the luxury we offer them.

New achievements for Jack today. He put his trainers on, the operated leg without laces. We drove to Morrison's and I parked a little way from the store. He walked down to the cash point and then back to the car with no crutches or stick. This evening he has washed, wiped up and put away our dinner plates etc. So things are really going well.
