As part of my make-the-bank-holiday-weekend-slightly-more-interesting-than-any-other-weekend plan, I’d booked lunch on the terrace of a lovely Italian restaurant in Wells, overlooking the Cathedral Green, to be followed by Evensong in the cathedral. However, one of the inmates wasn’t up to going out today so plans had to be postponed. Instead a very quiet Sunday. A lot more sun about than yesterday, but a cool breeze kept the temperature at 20 degrees.
