Evening Light.....

We walked around Ilam and Dovedale today. (see extras) It was a little busier than the last time we were here at the end of March. And the lambs are much bigger as you'd expect.

This evening I had my first outing with my camera club this year. We've been Zooming for ages, but now we're allowed to gather in groups of up to 30 outside. We would normally do outside meets in the summer anyway, but it had been so long that it was great to actually see everyone. We only went to one of the park's in Stoke-on-Trent but there was plenty to photograph. This particular park - Longton Park - is where I spent many a happy hour as a child and teenager. There were a few things that had changed but the basic layout was much the same.

The squirrels are very tame and there was plenty of bird life. But much of the evening was taken up with just catching up as not everyone has been involved in the Zoom meets.
