Woke at five this morning and looked outside to see....not very much. Briefly tried going back to bed for a little extra sleep but knowing what was awaiting in the hills meant that was never going to happen.

The morning did not disappoint as I was met with a stunning cloud inversion in the Lomond Hills. Once again it felt like a different world up there above the clouds, and given the early start  I seemingly had the entirety of that world to myself.
