Tillycoultry to Alva

The weekend snow has all but disappeared and this afternoon was appreciably warmer.
Unfortunately the fine path through the Mill Glen from Tillycoultry is still closed whch is a shame as climbs past some lovely falls and eventually provides good views of the Ochils. Let's hope it reopens soon. We walked therefore on the path to Alva via the Woodland Park and returned by way of a lower path leading to the golf course back in Tilliycoultry. I had not walked this route before so one path closed opened up another.
This sign is at the Woodland Park and it has weathered very well as it has been there for quite a long time.....notice one of the sponsors is"The Scottish Office" and not "The Scottish Executive or Government"
