Having bailed out of my original plan for the day (and almost zero sleep ... just drifting in and out listening to David Hockney and Martin Gayford in conversation) I drove over to my friend’s for coffee which turned into lunch. I got caught for ages in a traffic jam (extra) ... I have never ever seen so many tractors...they must have stretched all the way from here to Crosby.
We decided to be bold and head over to the lake for a swim and had a lovely swim out to the Minion. Having bailed out once I reckoned I needed to at least try to manage swimming out to the Minion and did.
