A different view...

So it’s was up at 05:30 and out the door at 05:45 to get to Edinburgh airport for our flight at 08:00. However British Airways had other plans and cancelled our flight at 08:10! :(

Anyway, cannot really complain as they managed to move our family of 5 onto the flight leaving Newcastle at 13:30 and sent us there in a taxi (2 hours away).

So here we are in Albufeira, Portugal for the week! It is lovely and feels good to bring our tourism back to a coastal community pretty reliant on it. A yummy dinner overlooking the sea, with fresh seafood and local wine. ‘Tudo bem’ as they say here!
