The order of the bath

The order being that TSM got to try it out first. Candles lit. Lighting softened. Bath salts added. Music by Erik Satie. I was invited to share the experience so I sat on the loo and chatted to her.

Inevitably there was a scratching at the door, not once but twice, and we were joined by curious felines who found the whole thing far too puzzling. I suppose the idea of voluntarily lowering yourself into water seems incomprehensible to a cat.

The rest of our day was lovely, with warm weather finally gracing our postcode, an excellent session from Hay with Alastair Campbell and Ruby Wax, and a pleasant walk.
