Joker's Hat

Well, that's my name for this plant, on account of the spurs (I had to look that up) of the petals which look like a Joker's hat.

Photographed on a sunny evening with light streaming through the trees and as the sun slowly moved round, different parts of the plant caught the light. I let the shadows fade almost to black, but I couldn't leave them entirely without detail. I do like the extreme contrast and vibrant yellow.
