Forget me not..

..well, I will not forget the mesmerizing experience of watching the bumble-bee mimicking bee-fly serving itself of the nectar from the forget-me-not flowers.
The rigid proboscidis makes it look rather like the insect's answer to the hummingbird. The stability in air and precision with which it centered each flower are incredible.
Despite its pretty look and the fact that it does neither bite nor sting, this fellow is no good news to the solitary bees and wasps for it lays the eggs close to their nest, and its larvaes will then feast on the bee's/wasp's grubs!
Pretty parasite eh!
