Maturing
Last day of the retreat.
Yesterday during a practice session with a fellow student in Israel we counted the sound of 144 missile strikes during the hour we met. He's a medic with the Israeli army and had skipped the morning teaching to take his wife and daughter to a safer location.
Later still I worked with my Palestinian friend.
Pure unadulterated joy to witness the maturation of two courageous hearts and tender souls in the course of this retreat. I love this work but am going to lighten up a bit and enjoy the garden and, hopefully, some sun for the next couple of months. There's so much to digest and take in from three retreats this spring.
Not managing to participate much on Blip these days but appreciate all your postings and visits.
