View roughly err South-West?
Hmmm... yes, I've taken better snaps. Still it's of interest. Oh yes. Apart from cutting two people's feet off, (something even the Saudis don't do), there's Craiglockhart War Hospital where Sassoon and Owen famously met in 1917. And the new shiny dome thing as it's noo Napier University, which believe it or nutt, the son has now been accepted into to do some timber engineering course.
After doing maw stuff all morning, I took myself off to see Silver Lining Playbook. It was on at the 'Silver Screen' at the Cameo where over 60s get free tea and biccies. I never managed to blag any. A pretty decent movie, ending in a slight surfeit of cheese, as you'd expect of the romcom genre, after all. Grand entertainment.
After that, dropped the Cup Final (this Sunday, folks!) dosh off at Russell's along with the menu choices (prawn cocktail!!) and home to start the task of picking the new pope with the help of the Guardian's Pontifficator.
This one is my favourite. Cracking headgear that - he could have joined the flying teapot society back in the day.
