MonoMonday - Silent Letter

Almond - seems to vary in pronunciation & now that I'm thinking about it out loud, seems I sometimes say 'ah-minnd' & sometimes with the 'L' 'aah-l-mond' or 'all-mand'. Oh nuts, now I can't get it to flow off the tongue!

River Almond viewed from Grotto Bridge - as I know it called (official name - Craigiehall Bridge) connecting Cammo Estate with Craigiehall & West Craigs.

Met with SW walked to Cloudberry's, picked up a cuppa & treat, then walk to the side of the river & sat watching the world go by. After refreshing, walked up path on side of the river, across Grotto Bridge. Walked around Cammo Estate, having a seat again to enjoy being out in nature, listening to the birds & catching up news, it's been nearly six months since we last met outdoors for cuppa & walk.

Back home a cuppa out in the garden then SW on way home.

There was haar, then sun, then a bit haar again, then sun which became hot in the sun & cool in the shade, lovely day for a walk as a gentle breeze to keep the insects away.
