Dry Stone Walls.

One of the features of Yorkshire that fascinate me are the dry stone walls often topped with green moss, miles and miles of them, some ordered and some as in this photo just higgledy piggledy across the countryside. On reading up about them I learned that there are over 500 miles of these walls in Yorkshire, some dating back over 600 years when they were built to repel wolves.
