Swinging from the Sock Man
Look who was with us today. Wearing shorts that were somewhat too loose round the waist which is why an improvised belt had to be fashioned out of garden twine.
William had a go on his swing, rode his tractor for a bit, kicked a football around and played with the bubble machine. His Dad complained of being woken at 7 am. He should be so lucky.
The sun broke through just as they arrived at ours. Then we all went to Queen's Park in Loughborough where we enjoyed lunch in the shade luckily. William and I have pale skin. Then to the play park. I found a Ladybird seat, which was indeed comfortable, to enjoy the warmth and the greenery.
William didn't stay long in the play area. There might have been too many other children there for his liking. You can never tell.
So we walked to the marketplace to pop in on Aziz and buy some ice cream. (see extra)
As you can see, Will gamely swung from the Sock Man for me.
