Thank God the compulsory question was an application one! I find it easier to analyze stuff and critique it, rather than just answering a one or two-liner essay question. Last evening, I still didn't really know how to study for today's paper (and was also quite bored and tired with the prospect of studying right after I've done my 2nd paper late last afternoon), and just went about looking at my notes (rather than my readings) and remembering basic key concepts. I was just telling Shihui yesterday that if only there'll be an application question this time 'round, though I thought it impossible, since a check with past two semesters' examination papers of that module showed that there wasn't any, and highly likely to be. Yet my prayers were answered! Praise God! Thanks Di for praying too! hee.. wheeee~

Still, I look back and realise that though my points were there, I didn't really shape it in a way to answer the question directly.. *dOH! Really much that I could have improved on.. oh well! Shan't be too bothered by it.. two more modules to think--and study-- about! ;)

Too much worrying just does me no good.. gotta let go and let God take over~ :)

So! After today's paper, I gave myself a break! ^_^
YAYYY!!

Actually I was really quite drained after today's paper, but I still decided to sling on my Lumix and bring it out for a walk ;) Just spent hours and hours (read: about 12pm+ till I reached back hall at 8pm+) out by myself, had lunch at the foodcourt, went to look-see at this apparently very well-known-- though quite a secluded location situated above the Bugis market) shop selling Army goods, walked around Bugis snapping pictures here and there, went to the National Library and tried to study a set of notes I'd brought along (*tsk, I still thought about work!) but nearly froze to death (again) in the library.

Note: It's a wonder why there hasn't been any case as to students freezing to death in our local libraries--yes, including our campus' ones!-- when they're notorious for their super low temperatures. It's ironic when I think how our weather's so hot (it's summer all year 'round!), and to escape it, we go into air-conditioned places, which in turn contribute to global warming and make our country (and Earth) muchhhh hotter!

oops, sorry. Ramblings~ ;)

Soooooo yes! After that I went to St Joseph's Church to take more snapshots, went to Bras Basah to walk around before returning to the Church to attend its sunset mass. The Church is hugeeee! And a beauty too~ with lovely patterns and intricate designs, it still has fans instead of air-conditioners, use missals and song booklets instead of flashing them on a projector screen.. in short, I'm glad it hasn't modernised nor step up with technology.. I like it just the way it is, and has been, all along. Perhaps in a way, it helps one preserve wispery memories too.. When I was younger, my whole family used to go there during Good Friday (after attending the mass at our own Parish) to attend the procession together with several other Catholics around Singapore. We don't do that anymore.. not sure why either.. hmm.

After mass, I stayed back and took a few more snaps before deciding to travel back.. but just when I was about to leave, the French Priest who presided the mass smiled and asked "where are you from?". I didn't quite understood what he meant, because I recognized him as the Priest who used to be in my Godmother's parish, and I thought he found me familiar too, so I told him how I'm related to her. Instead, he gave a puzzled look before recalling my Godma (we had lunched once together with him before), and I realised that he didn't recognize me immediately and thought I was some sort of tourist (hence the question)! He asked about everyone in the family, expressed concern on something about perhaps my aunts and I should go for regular check-ups since Cancer seems hereditary.. (I didn't always understood what he said due to his heavily French-accented English, though he's been here from France since 1964!) The Father's already in his early 70s, and still a jolly good fella~ :)

Now I'm totally worn out.. 1.17am now, gotta slee.. zzzzz~
