Morro bay series: Elfin forest.

Next to the bay is a private reserve trail of miniature trees, usually called "elfin" in CA but chaparral in Spain, and elsewhere.  Miniature due to the dry conditions and strong ocean winds.  The trees are rarely 5 ft and give views beyond.  Extra has the relationship to the rock and estuary and a view inside a lovely tree covered meditation space.
