Sunbathing, Robin style.

After a preening session the Robin settled into a spot of sunbathing stretching wide his wings and tail feathers. He was there for quite a few minutes before getting back on his feet, having a scratch then flying off. I'm not sure why he picked a place amongst the lettuces in a raised bed; perhaps the earth was warm?
