Gargoyle or Grotesque?

I never really know the difference? Do gargoyles have to have water pouring out of their mouths?

Anyway, 'twas light enough when I got home from work tonight to wander round the garden, camera poised, seeking inspiration for a blip. I've had this wee chap for so long, I almost don't "see" him anymore, so it was great to have him come to life in front of the lens.
