International Burger Day

In fact, as I type, it has just changed over to 1st June 2021!! I can't believe how fast this year is flying!

G took herself to work again today, so I swept her balcony first thing! We then had a nice leisurely morning, both working in our own "offices" at home. It was soon time to hurriedly get ready to drive to Biker's cafe where we met up with Patrick and Alexandra after ages! It was Patrick's birthday on 21st May, so we wanted to do something for him.

P&A said that they had heard on the radio that it was "International (Beef) Burger Day" today. On hearing this, there was no question as to what we should order. My blip is of my (fried) chicken burger. Everyone else had beef and we were all pleased with what we chose. We felt so full, we didn't need to eat the rest of the day!

AWANA was good but we skipped T@3. They were going to have a physical meeting after ages, so we thought it best to allow them to concentrate on chatting with the people who were there.

The biggest excitement was an Amazon order being delivered. A friend had very generously given me quite a large sum of money for my birthday, so today, I received items that had been in my cart for months! It was super unpacking everything and even trying one or two things out. Lots of gadgets as you can imagine. :)))
